1 Day Refresher Course- Certification NOT included


This refresher course is for lifeguards who are currently American Red Cross certified looking for a refresher to hone skills.

5-10 Persons $1000

10-15 $1500


We will review all the materials in the American Red Cross Lifeguard Course. We review the medical portion, 500 yard swim and take the written test. This course is great for seasonal staff that may have active certification but have not practiced their skills for a period of time.

The Aquatic Module includes:

  • 500-yard swim test for time

  • Water rescue techniques (with and without rescue tubes and buoys) review

  • Paddleboard use review

  • Water search and recovery technique using mask/snorkel and fins

  • Techniques for removing injured victims from the water

The Dry Land Emergency Medical Module Includes:

  • CPR/AED review

  • Back boarding/Slings/Bandaging of major and minor injuries review

  • Common Emergencies, Primary and Secondary Surveys review (heart attack, stroke, heart problems, allergic reactions, etc.)

  • Oxygen Administration

  • Bloodborne Pathogen Training


2 Day Refresher Course- Includes Certification

This is for lifeguards with current American Red Cross certification. Open Water Lifeguarding 2 Day Refresher Course. All students receive American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate for recertification.

Full recertification for the ARC Lifeguard. Immerse yourself and your group in a 2-day full refresher including aquatic and dry land modules.
