Gordon O. Miller has over 30 years of hiring, training and managing a staff of over 50 lifeguards for the Cape Cod National Seashore. He is also well versed in lifeguard program creation and what it takes to run a successful operation.

While our offerings below are priced for local training on Cape Cod and the Islands, we are available to customize an offer for your group anywhere on the globe. Locales of offsite training have included St. John in the Virgin Islands and The county of Maui, HI, far from the shores of the Cape!

Basic Courses

This course is for people who are interested in getting certified or re-certified in CPR / AED and First Aid. Can be offered in an indoor setting. Red Cross Certification Included.

Basic Water Rescue For Hotels with with Pools $95 per person

This course is required by most counties in the Commonwealth. Someone on staff must be certified in this course whenever the pool is in operation. This person is usually not a lifeguard. Red Cross Certification Included.

On Cape Cod, we run a seasonal lifeguard program. Every year, returning lifeguards and water safety professionals come back after a year of living and working in a different environment than the ocean, lake, pond or pool.
